  Monika got her education at the "Hochschule" for music and theatre in Hannover and at the Folkwangschule in Essen with the concentration on stage dance. Next to that she absolved a private singing and acting education. Her first opera engagements in "La fille mal gardee", "Orpheus in der Unterwelt" and "Giselle" at the Aalto-Theatre in Essen followed.

  As "Graziella" in the "West Side Story" she performed for the first time on a musical stage. After that the revue "Kleiner Mann - Was nun?" (Little Man-What now?) followed, by "Tankred Dorst nach Fallada". In both plays the appeared in other productions.

 
 


   1996 Monika became a member of the original cast of the world premiere of the "Gambler" in Mönchengladbach and took over the character of the title role of the "Showgirl". Next to theatre-engagements she worked as dancer, choreograph and as model for several agencies and firms, performed on fairs, performances, TV-productions and commercials.

  Monika is a regular ensemble swing and cover for "Lisa" and also portrays the characters of Fanny, Kate, Molly, Mary, Alice & Polly since the beginning of the show.
